Privacy Policy

Quickbirch is operated by Batquest LLC ("Quickbirch," "we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Quickbirch, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Quickbirch is a missed-call intake software service for home-service contractors, operated by Batquest LLC, which does business as Quickbirch. Batquest LLC is a US limited liability company. Contact: privacy@quickbirch.com · Batquest LLC, [STREET, CITY, STATE, ZIP].

2. The information we collect

From contractors (our customers): business name and contact details, on-call mobile phone number(s), billing information (processed by Stripe), and product usage data.

From homeowners and leads (callers and web-form visitors): the calling phone number (ANI), in-call menu selections (DTMF), and any information submitted through our web link (name, email address, service address, and a description of the service need). We generate call detail records (caller number, time, menu path, lead outcome). Quickbirch records only the optional voice note a caller chooses to leave after completing the menu. The voice note is disclosed in the recording prompt before recording starts and begins only when the caller opts in by keypress. The voice note is transcribed to text, and the audio is deleted within 30 days of the recording; the transcript is retained with the lead.

Automatically: device and usage information, cookies, and analytics. See §8 (Your privacy choices).

3. How we use information

  • To capture, qualify, and deliver leads to the contractor whose number or link was contacted.
  • To send lead notifications and urgent service alerts via SMS to contractors who have opted in (see §4).
  • To email quote-draft estimates and replies to homeowners who have provided and verified their email and consented (see §5).
  • To route callbacks and operate the service.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not send promotional or marketing SMS. Our SMS is limited to lead notifications and urgent service alerts to contractors who opt in.

4. SMS program (A2P 10DLC) — please read

This section describes the only SMS program Quickbirch operates.

  • Who receives SMS: contractors (our customers) who provide an on-call mobile number and opt in during Quickbirch onboarding. Quickbirch does not send SMS to homeowners or consumers.
  • What we send: (a) lead notifications when a new lead is captured; (b) urgent/emergency service alerts (for example, a reported gas leak) requiring immediate callback; and (c) escalation alerts to a backup on-call contact when the primary on-call has not responded within the agreed service-level window.
  • Opt-in: you opt in by entering your on-call mobile number in Quickbirch and checking the consent checkbox during onboarding (or in your dashboard settings). Consent is not a condition of purchasing the service.
  • Message frequency: varies with your lead volume — you may receive several messages per day during busy periods or none during quiet periods.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's standard message and data rates apply to messages you receive.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. HELP for help. START or UNSTOP to re-subscribe. Opt-out is also available in your dashboard settings or by contacting privacy@quickbirch.com.
  • No sharing for marketing: we do not share your mobile number with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • No sale of personal information: we do not sell your personal information.

5. Email communications

Where a homeowner has provided and verified an email address and consented at web submit, Quickbirch may email a quote-draft estimate or a contractor's reply on the contractor's behalf. These emails comply with CAN-SPAM and include our sender identity and an unsubscribe link. Contractors may also receive account and billing emails.

6. How we share information

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf: Twilio and Telnyx (telephony/SMS), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (billing), and our hosting and infrastructure providers. These providers are bound to process data only as we direct.
  • Contractors receive the lead information for their own business use. Contractors are independent controllers responsible for any outreach they initiate from their own devices or numbers (calling, texting, or emailing a lead); Quickbirch is a lead-handoff tool, not a co-sender of that outreach.
  • As required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile numbers for marketing.

7. Data retention

We retain lead information, call detail records, and consent records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. Voice note audio is deleted within 30 days of the recording. The voice note transcript is retained with the lead for as long as the lead is retained.

[Retention periods — to be finalized with legal counsel.]

You may request deletion sooner (see §8).

8. Your privacy choices (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect; request deletion; correct inaccurate information; opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share for marketing); and exercise these rights via an authorized agent. You may submit a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we treat as an opt-out request. You may also export your data and request account deletion (subject to a 30-day grace period to handle pending leads and legal obligations). To exercise any right, contact privacy@quickbirch.com or use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the cookie notice at the bottom of any page.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Children

Quickbirch is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated version here and update the "last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.
